Yogyakarta is located at the foot of the active Merapi volcano and officially one of Indonesia's 33 provinces which is considered as one of the foremost cultural center of Java. Yogyakarta is a special region in Indonesia, with a king (called as Sultan) lives in a palace and rules the city. The city is known for its beautiful historic old buildings, enticing narrow alleys, the warmth and friendly nature of local people, tasty and somewhat sweet local dishes, also a fascinating local arts scene. Surrounded with the enchanting view of natures and magnificent temples that possess special charm, Yogyakarta seldom fails to captivate the visitors.
